There is nothing like a Greek Fire show, the energy is second to none. Every show is never the same as the last. I just love how the amount of fun these guys are having just radiates outward. This was a show with Evans Blue to raise money for the city of Joplin, MO, which is still recovering for the tornadoes that hit the town back in May. To donate, visit Rebuild Joplin.

On July 15th I photographed the BROOKROYAL show at Pop’s in St. Louis, MO, their hometown. It was my second time photographing them, check out the previous shots. This was a concert to announce The Point’s next Pointfest, which they will also be playing. There were 3 other local bands who opened for BROOKROYAL: Last Nights Vice, Fivefold, and Corvus. If there’s one thing to take away from a Greek Fire show, it is that these guys are out there to have fun, make great music and take you along for the ride. This was my second time seeing them live, but my first time photographing their show. This was a challenging, but fun show to shoot.

Now that was an incredible show! The guys in Story of the Year really went all out to give the hometown fans one hell of a sold out show. This was my second time photographing one of their concerts and as before it was not an easy show to shoot. The lighting was okay at best, there were monitors and platforms lining the front of the stage and they were constantly on the move.
