Brookroyal are always a favorite of mine to photograph. They always put on a great show and are a bunch of great guys. Every time they hit the stage it is amazing experience. There is never a dull moment throughout the entire set.

On July 15th I photographed the BROOKROYAL show at Pop’s in St. Louis, MO, their hometown. It was my second time photographing them, check out the previous shots. This was a concert to announce The Point’s next Pointfest, which they will also be playing. There were 3 other local bands who opened for BROOKROYAL: Last Nights Vice, Fivefold, and Corvus. I had the opportunity to photograph Papa Roach at 105.7 The Point’s HoHo Show 2009 and they put on a great performance. This was the third or forth time seeing them live and they always put on a heck of a show.
Images were taken with a Canon 5D and the 70-200mm f2.8L IS lens. Although I wish I brought the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L as well. The 70mm was just a bit too long for some shots.

They’re up! As I mentioned in my review, the equipment I used is in the following post. Almost all of the images are just a straight processed RAW file with little or no Photoshop. I have also enabled comments on the gallery and as long as the spam doesn’t get out of hand I will leave them open.

5 CommentsSunday I went to Pointfest with some friends and had a great time. We got there a little before 4. I picked up my 4 tickets and 2 photo passes and we headed in. Thanks go out to Dave and Freddie for once again getting me hooked up with the tickets and passes. This time I was able to shoot from in front of the barricade instead of from the pit, which was not an easy thing to do. I am working on getting the pictures up from Pointfest as fast as I can. I used the same equipment as the last Breaking Benjamin show.
