If there’s one thing to take away from a Greek Fire show, it is that these guys are out there to have fun, make great music and take you along for the ride. This was my second time seeing them live, but my first time photographing their show. This was a challenging, but fun show to shoot.
This was a hometown show where they were opening for the band Thursday and was the opening night of the tour. (Photos of Thursday will be up soon.) They started with their single “Doesn’t Matter Anyway” and that got the crowd revved up right off the bat. Thursday was nice enough to let Greek Fire play a couple extra songs and go past the usual 30 minute opening set.
After their set, Philip Sneed aka Moon immediately went out to the crowd and was chatting and taking pics with the fans, I even had him sign one of my Story of the Year pictures that I took. Everyone in this band are some of the most genuinely nice guys you will find. Dan Marsala, vocals for Story of the Year and The Fuck Off and Dies was also hanging out and signed one of my pics.
If they are coming to your area, do yourself a favor and go check them out!
