Thursday Concert at Pop’s

Thursday was the headliner for the show with Greek Fire. If you wanted to attend one of the most energetic shows possible, then this was one not to be missed, so I hope you were in attendance.

I have been a Thursday fan for quite a while, but this was my first time seeing them live and they did not disappoint. From the very first song, “Fast to the End”, to the last, “Turnpike Divides”, it was a non-stop, in your face show. This made for a tough show to shoot with the band members always moving. The lighting was the usual, dark lighting with a heavy emphasis of red lights. Although there were moments of decent light.

Thursday is currently touring in support of their latest CD, No Devolución, which has earned critical acclaim, which I must say is well deserved. Geoff Rickly, the lead singer, told the crowd that they want everyone to hear their new album, no matter how they do so. This album is a departure from previous albums and I must say is a thing of beauty.
