Ugh…

Well today I had my first grade and test in Differential Equations. It was only 6 questions. I know I got most of them for the most part, but there is one that I can’t believe I missed, I was just totally not thinking. It was y’-2y=4 and we had to solve by separation of variables. And I was just staring at it. I don’t know how, but my mind went blank and I didn’t think to use dy/dx and then just get dx by itself. So, I am really pissed because if I would have thought of that I wouldn’t of had any problems doing the rest of the problem. Damn that really pisses me off when I do that because I do it on every damn test. And that hurts me a lot because each test is like 15-20% of my grade, but I don’t remember exactly and am too lazy to go and find out.

Speaking of pitiful. How about them Blues, they lost again tonight. And are currently in 9th place in the western conference. So if the season ended now we would miss the playoffs for the first time in about 25 years.

Da Blues…

Well tonight my friend called me a couple hours before the Blues game tonight and we decided to go, since it was buy one get one free night. His brother also came. When we got there there was only $45 seats left, so we got those and they were all half off so we got three tickets for like $67 bucks. The seats were almost directly behind the net where the Blues shot twice and about 5 rows from the top of the lower bowl. They played the Wild and we tied 1-1. We really could have used the extra point because the Red Wings won 6-0 tonight. The Blues are, I think, 6 pts behind Detroit with 5 games at hand.

New Years, Pt 2…

Well, nobody got wasted so that was good. We mainly just hung out, played some Halo, went to eat at a all you can eat pizza place. I got home around 2:30 on Thursday and if I had gotten home about 15 minutes earlier I would have known some of my friends were out playing hockey, oh well. That night I went to the Blues game, we won 5-4, I had 12th row seats on the Blues shoot twice side. We almost lost the game, but held on for the win.

Friday, I went bowling for the first time in years. I bowled a 118 and I think a 149, or something like that. One of the guys had some free passes, so I only had to pay for shoe rental.

Today, I did nothing but watch football. Both teams that I picked won, Carolina and Tennessee. Speaking of picks I won my little Maxim Pool against Jeff and Steve. Currently I am #29 overall in the Point’s picks thing. Which ain’t too bad considering there are probably a few thousand in it. I also do picks on DeviantArt’s forums, but the guy who does it hasn’t posted in a few weeks so I don’t know the current stats. Both the Point’s and DeviantArt’s one’s are picking for the playoffs.

New Years…

Well I am going over to my friends apartment and get to watch everyone else get plastered because I don’t drink. Oh joy babysitting drunks. I will be back around 1 on New Years and then I am going to the Blues game. We got $85 seats for $30 because of the student deal and we are in the 12th row. Also it’s on the shoot twice side and since they are playing the amazingly bad Rangers we had better win.

Blah…

Been awhile since my last post, I’ve been really lazy. Last Saturday I went to the Blues game. They tied Phoenix, but it was a good game. Tuesday I went to The Urge concert which kicked ass. I also saw their last show before breaking up 2 years ago. But this one was even better. Mainly because I was on the floor which kicks ass. Did a little moshing and I am still sore from jumping around and shit.

For X-Mas I got a couple games, alias season 2, cd case, and that’s about it. Even though I wanted an iPod, but I knew that wasn’t gonna happen.

Well, today was the last day of finals.

Monday I had my stats final. I think I did ok. We also had to turn in a project that is either worth 5% or 10% of our grade and that should be an easy A. I had a 91% before the project and the final, so I should still have the A.

Tuesday, No finals. Which was nice because I had 2 papers to write and a final to study for. So that was pretty much most of my day, 11 am – 10 pm.

Wenesday I had my Intro to Gov test. My teacher had our grades done by the afternoon so I found out what I got. I got an 87 on the final and a B for the course.

I also had to turn in my 2 papers for my Intro to Lit class. Well I get there and a couple of the guys in the class are waiting outside, so I walk over. And I find out that our teacher wasn’t there and there was a note saying to put the papers in his mailbox. What a lazy son of a bitch. I have no idea what my grade will be for the course, considering that 40% of our grade is the 2 papers and anther 20% is class participation.

Ok, and today I had my Earth Science final. Which I didn’t study much for, just read over my notes. I needed to get a 83% to keep my A. Our test was 160 multiple choice and we only had to answer 150 of them. Plus he gave us 10 bonus questions, which was nice esp. since most of the bonus questions were ones already asked in the test. I think I did pretty well, but we’ll see.

Tonight was good. I went to the St. Louis Blues game against the San Jose Sharks. A friend of mine got 25 free tickets. And they were damn good seats, they normally run 85 bucks each. It was a great game. The Blues won 4-2.
