Websites

1 Man and a Mower

1manandamower.com
1 Man and a Mower is a new lawn care provider, based in Freeburg, IL. The owner requested a new logo that incorporated a stickman, so I created a new typographic logo with the stickman as a secondary element. I also built a brand new mobile/responsive website. The site is built on WordPress and utilizes bootstrap.

Brookroyal

brookroyal
Brookroyal are one of the best St. Louis, MO bands and just so happen to be one of my favorite bands. I was asked to create a new website for their latest CD, Cycles of Life & Sound. I had free reign on the design, so I decided to base the design on the new CD cover to help tie everything together. (Note: I did the design, but not the HTML/CSS implementation.)

BlueNoteZone

bluenotezone
This was the third site that I built for bluenotezone.com. After monitoring the traffic to the site, we noticed that a growing number of visitors were accessing the site via smart phones and tablets. So, we decided to build a new fully responsive site, which means the site automatically resizes to fit any screen and/or device. Resize your browser or view the site on your phone to see how it works.

Bob Artime

Bob-Artime
My dad is a local singer in the area and as a Christmas present to my dad I built him a responsive website and created a logo. The site is designed to mimic a couple of theater/performance related items like: spotlights and curtains.

Breaking Benjamin

shallowbay

For the third time I created a new website for the band, Breaking Benjamin. The site integrated elements from their latest cd, Dear Agony, along with some that I created. Like all the previous versions, the site uses wordpress for the backend. You can read more about the redesign in the blog post.

I got word that the band loved the new site, so that was a great thrill for me.

ArtMonkeyWorld

I recently had the pleasure of redesigning the website for a local artist, David Carr. The original site was something that I had done about 2 and a half years ago, so it was due for an overhaul.

Breaking Benjamin

shallowbay2

I took over building the website for Hollywood Records Platinum Rock artsits, Breaking Benjamin. I built the site on wordpress to allow updates to be made easily by anyone. This not only includes the front news page, but also the tour page. One of the most important parts of the site are forums. The forums are built on vBulletin. This was my first attempt at customizing vB, but I found it to be quite easy to customize. Since MySpace is such a key promotional tool for any band, I also designed their myspace page to match the new website.

Kekuhn Clothing

kekuhn

I was in charge establishing the web site for a brand new online based clothing company, Kekuhn. The logo was already complete, but I had free reign to develop a site around the logo and the clothing style. The site was built around the open source shopping cart platform, Zen-Cart. I also completely customized their myspace page.

Cedarleaf Photography

cedarleaf

I work at Cedarleaf Photography in Belleville, IL during the day. I was given the opportunity to design a brand new site since the old one had not been updated in years. As usual I built the site with standards in mind. The entire site is driven on CSS, including the gallery. For the gallery I used one of the galleries put together by Stu Nicholls and then just customized it to my needs.
