On November 13th I photographed the BROOKROYAL show at Pop’s in St. Louis, MO, their hometown. It was a sold out show with 5 local bands on the bill, Hollow Point Heroes, Reigning Heir, Fivefold, Killer Me Killer You (Pictures of Killer Me Killer You will be up soon.) and BROOKROYAL.

BROOKROYAL put on an amazing show, as always. They played a mixture of their songs from their LP “Motives”, the “There Was a Time EP” and some new unheard songs.

The lead singer, Jack Wiese, took a couple trips off the stage to get up close with the fans and they went crazy. Everyone in the band had a ton of energy and the crowd built off that energy and got more intense as the night went on. I had a great time photographing their show and hope do have the opportunity to shoot them again.

I used 2 Canon 5D’s one with the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L lens and the other with the Canon 16-35mm f2.8L lens.

You can currently pick up their music on Amazon and I highly recommend you do so.

At this show they also announced that they will be playing with My Chemical Romance at The Pageant on December 14th for The Point’s HoHo Show #4, which is already sold out.
