Pointfest 18, sucks
This years Pointfest will be on May 6, 2006 and the full lineup will be annouced on Monday, April 3rd. So far the only bands I know of are 10 Years and Hurt. If you know of any other bands that are confirmed, please either leave a comment or contact me.
Update: (4-3-06)
The official lineup has been announced and Pointfest just keeps getting worse every year. Last year I didn’t even get there until 7, because I was really only interested in Breaking Benjamin.
This year on the main stage are: Coheed & Cambria, Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, Trapt and Blue October. On the second stage: 10 Years, Hurt, People In Planes, Bril, Autovein, Rock Kills Kid, Bullets & Octane, Eighteen Visions, Damone and a local band.
Tickets are only $18 and go on sale Friday, April 7th. There is not one band that I care to see, so you won’t be seeing me there this year.
Listening to
I have been using last.fm since last December and so far I have been loving it. (You may remember it as audioscrobbler.) Over 4000 songs later and I have finally decided to put what I am listening to on my site. I found a plugin for wordpress from sevennine.net installed it and everything is up and running. I still need to do a little work to the way the tracks are displayed, for instance I think I will add a nice little icon or something beside each track, but it is way too late to do anything about it tonight. It is currently set to update from last.fm every 10 minutes.
Work
I have finally gotten some of my work uploaded. It is not complete. I have a few websites that I am working on finishing up, then I will be adding them to my site.
I am currently accepting work, please contact me.
S.A.D.
Happy Singles Awareness Day, ya bastards.
The Point is Streaming
105.7 The Point is finally streaming online. I remember they tried this many years ago, but had to stop due to voice over’s contracts or something like that. It is being powered by surfernetwork.com who truely have one of the ugliest sites out there. It looks like it belongs in 1996, not 2006.
