Tonight was the first game of our softball season. And we lost, 30-20. We were playing last years winners. We started out terrible and were down about 16-0 after the second or third inning. We then got some runs back. Then in the final inning we went nuts. Had bases loaded twice and were able to get a hit.

I was the 11th hitter. Went 3-4 with a couple RBI and a run scored. I was up in the 7th with bases loaded and two outs and was able to shoot a line drive back up the middle to drive two runs in.

If we can keep on hitting like we did that final inning we should have a pretty good season. 20 runs will win most of the games.

Last night I went over to my aunt and uncles house for my cousins confirmation party. And for the first time I played poker. It was two of my cousins, my brother, my dad, and myself. We started with 5 bucks in chips, didn’t actually play for money. I was the first one out, but got anoth 5 to play with. We played for a couple hours. I wound up about even.

Then we I got home I stuck in Kill BIll DVD. I had never seen it and bought the DVD on Friday. I thought it was really good. The violence was just plain funny. There were some really odd parts, but it was good. Now I jsut need to go out and see the second one.

Well, the past couple weeks have actually been busy for me. I have been doing some work in our backyard. Tore down the old fence and have been doing some work clearing up the trees back there. This week I alos had a 5 page paper due, which I finished at about 2:30 the morning before it was due. Had a test in Mid East History, Bio, and Diff Eq all in the past week or so. Tomorrow I have to do a panel discussion in my speech class. We are discussion weither the “Drinking age in the US should be changed?” I am the chairman, which means I don’t have to do much of anything except give out the topic, moderate, and just keep things going. So, that should be pretty easy.

Then, tomorrow night I am going to see Breaking Benjamin at Mississippi Nights.They will be taping the show for the video for their next single, So Cold. This is their second show in St. Louis for it, they also played last night.

Also, tomorrow downtown STL is gonna be a bitch. The President is in town to throw out the first pitch at the Cardinals game. Bush is gonna be at Busch.

I was working on 3 straight semesters of never missing a single hour of classes, but today I was feeling like crap. So, I missed my Mid East History class, but I made it to my Differential Equations class which is right after that because we were supposed to have a test, but that was pushed back to Thursday. So my streak was about 2 1/2 semesters and some before then but I don’t remember the details.

Thursday I have a 5 page paper due on anything dealing with the middle east from 570 – 1999 AD. I still don’t know what I will write about. Guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow. Then I will need to study a little for the Diff EQ test. Then Thursday will be spent studying for my Biology test on Friday. Fun.

Well I have finally scanned in all of my pictures from my trip to DC. And they are in the Pics section.

I am finally on break. I had two classes this morning, but we didn’t do much. Speech class we just found out who was in our group for our panel discussion and we then decided on a topic. We are doing “Should the drinking age be changed?” I am the chairperson, which means I am basically the moderator.

Then I had Bio and got my test back. I got a 77, not terrible, but I thought I had atleast a B. Shows what I know.

I was planning on seeing The GIrl Next Door, but aparently the studios pushed back the release to April because they didn’t want to compete this weekend. Pansies.
